Just in time for Christmas, one could say.

Also, to finally cut the rumours: DRAW label never begged for Ksiezyk's review. It is, simply put, a lie. We merely asked whether the CD reached its destination, because there were some problems with the post.

Understanding that one of the keys to Divertimento is *decontextualization* was apparently beyond
Rafal Ksiezyk in his review for Machina. Yawn.
Good knowledge can be worth less than nothing if you use platitudes (e.g. audiophile sound = bad, smooth-jazz = bad, lo-fi sound = good, unlistenable = good) instead of dynamic thinking. That's why I could make fun of virtually all of the article's embarassing sentences, but instead I'll wait till this otherwise well educated writer finally gets taste in music (and by music I mean "melody", not academic preconceptions). We've all been waiting for that for years -- the guy's competent and able of decent writing; the only thing he still lacks is... taste in melodies. So it's about time he gets one. Come on, it's not that hard. All you need is ears.
In the previous issue, however, Machina called Lake & Flames one of the best albums in the history of Polish rock music, which was nice. Machina would indeed be kinda cool if not for its name, reminiscent of that disastrous album by the Smashing Pumpkins.
Also, a friend of mine showed me
this. I actually have no idea who stole this picture of me as a very young boy (help, I am being stalked!), but I've always liked this photo, so it's fine by me.

Zadanie zrozumienia, ze jednym z kluczy do Divertimento jest *dekontekstualizacja* przeroslo mozliwosci Rafala Ksiezyka w jego recenzji dla Machiny. Ziew.
Czasem wiedza jest warta mniej niz nic jesli operuje sie frazesami (np. audiofilskie brzmienie = zle, smooth-jazz = zle, brzmienie lo-fi = dobrze, niesluchalne = dobrze) zamiast dynamicznego myslenia. Dlatego moglbym skompromitowac doslownie kazde zdanie z tego artykulu, ale zamiast tego poczekam az ten skadinad dobrze wyedukowany autor wreszcie posiadzie gust muzyczny (i przez muzyke rozumiem tu "melodie", a nie akademickie prekoncepcje). Czekalismy latami -- gosc jest kompetentny i przyzwoicie pisze; jedyne czego mu brakuje to... smak melodyczny. A wiec najwyzsza pora. No dalej, przeciez to nie takie trudne? Wszystko czego potrzeba, to uszy.
Natomiast w poprzednim numerze Machina okreslila Lake & Flames mianem jednego z najlepszych albumow w historii polskiego rocka, co bylo mile. Machina istotnie bylaby nawet cool, gdyby nie nazwa, budzaca skojarzenie z tym fatalnym albumem Smashing Pumpkins.
Ponadto, kolezanka pokazala mi
to. Wlasciwie nie mam pojecia kto ukradl to zdjecie mnie jako bardzo mlodego chlopca (pomocy, jestem sledzony!), ale zawsze lubilem te fotke, wiec dla mnie spoko.
